We had a great turnout, the weather was beautiful, and we look forward to our Spring 2022 meeting! Thanks to all who attended. Pay your dues if you haven't done so online!
Please join your fellow Linkwood neighbors on Sunday, October 24 from 5 - 7 pm at the Phelps' driveway/courtyard on Linkfair Drive at Linkview. The Board will provide BBQ and water for dues-paid members. Please feel free to bring adult beverages, a side/dessert for the neighborhood, and some chairs! This is a great way to meet new neighbors, re-connect with old friends, and learn about the neighborhood! We will have Vice Mayor Pro-Tem/District K Councilwoman Castex-Tatum in attendance. We will also have a Linkwood kid pet-sitting sign up so we can start a new list of available Linkwood kids who want to pet/plant-sit. See you there!
Save the Date for Linkwood's Annual National Night Out! This is a festive neighborhood gathering on Linkfair Lane, from 5 - 6:30 pm to meet up with neighbors, and our local police officers and SEAL security officer. Neighbors bring snacks and finger foods to mingle and enjoy the evening together!
A very heartfelt thank you to everyone for attending our Linkwood Spring Social event! We had an awesome time with great neighbors, delicious food from El Topo Food Truck, and a visit from Council Member and Vice Mayor Pro Tem Martha Castex-Tatum. Thanks to all the board members and neighbors who braved the rain and made it a fun night!

Neighbors gathered on Saturday, April 10, 2021 to participate in Keep Houston Beautiful Day, a city-wide cleanup effort held every Spring. The Braeswood Super Neighborhood consists of multiple neighborhoods around Linkwood. Volunteers from throughout the Super Neighborhood area gathered on Stella Link and Linkwood Park to clean up litter with supplies borrowed from the Houston Tool Bank and donated by City Council District K. Council Member Martha Castex-Tatum provided the group with Certificate of Recognition. We look forward to more clean ups throughout 2021, and next year's Keep Houston Beautiful Day!
KEEP HOUSTON BEAUTIFUL DAY - Spring clean up with your neighbors!
When: Saturday, April 10, 9 am - 1 pm Where: Tools will be available and volunteers will gather at two locations: 1) Parking lot on NW corner of Stella Link and Linkwood Dr. (near the Shipley's Donuts) 2) Linkwood Park entrance at Ilona and Linkwood Dr. This is a great place for families to volunteer! We are excited to gather outdoors and make a big difference in this one day community impact event all over the city of Houston, and we want you join us! Representatives from the Braeswood Superneighborhood will be at two locations to distribute tools we are borrowing from the City. We will have trash bags, rakes, and other tools to help you clean with us! Volunteers will be cleaning up litter along Stella Link and in Linkwood Park. Feel free to bring your own tools, bags, and gloves, if desired. Please consider wearing a mask when volunteering. No need to sign up. Just show up anytime between 9 am - 1 pm! As a deed-restricted neighborhood, Linkwood requires all new construction and remodel plans to be submitted for review. Regular trash pickup is every Thursday. Recycling pick-up is every other Thursday. Junk Waste pickup is the 3rd Tuesday of even-numbered months. Tree waste pickup is the 3rd Tuesday of odd-numbered months.
